RMC’s Colored Electrical Metallic Tubing (EMT) is designed for use in electrical systems where color identification is essential. Manufactured to the same rigorous standards as our standard EMT, this conduit delivers excellent strength, corrosion resistance, and performance.
Features and Benefits
Electrical Metallic Tubing (EMT) manufactured in accordance with UL 797 and ANSI C80.3, with exterior secondary color coating applied for system identification. Durable exterior powder-coated finish provides long-lasting system identification with enhanced abrasion, wear, and UV resistance. Smooth zinc interior coating allows fast, efficient wire pulling with reduced chafing. Bends easily without cracking, flaking, or wrinkling—even under high stress. Withstands impact and vibration common in fire and life-safety applications.

Installation
Raceway grounding and bonding performance is achieved through the completed installed assembly using approved fittings and installation methods in accordance with applicable codes.
